Presenter Information:

Marcus Fryer, SJ, currently is missioned to Loyola Middle School in St. Louis, serving as the school’s chaplain, assistant principal, and teacher, while also supporting Loyola’s development efforts. He formerly served as dean of students and pastoral director at Arrupe Jesuit High School in Denver and as an assistant pastor at a parish in New Mexico, among other ministries. He joined the Society of Jesus in 2006 and was ordained in 2017.
The Marketplace Spirituality Retreat is for 2025-26 Bridges retreatants, as well as for others — as space permits — who have at some point completed the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola. The retreat’s hybrid format offers a live online opportunity for those who cannot attend in person.
The in-person retreat includes refreshments on Friday evening and continental breakfast and a box lunch on Saturday.
Limited overnight accommodations are available on Friday, April 24 at the Motherhouse. There are only 11 total beds available, including three double rooms for couples/friends ($100) and 5 single rooms ($60). Most rooms do not have private baths but share nearby facilities. Rooms with private baths are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We will give preference for overnight accommodations to anyone coming from out of town.
If you have questions, contact Steve Givens at: executive.director@bridgesfoundation.org or call (314) 401-2072.
Whether you can attend in person, online or cannot attend, please complete the form at the link below. Deadline is April 3, 2026.
